WPP Yagnilo

The final version of the investment proposal envisages the development and construction of WPP "Yagnilo" consisting of 25 WTGs, located in 6 plots of land near the village of Yagnilo, Vetrino municipality and villages of Stan and Pamukchii, municipality of Novi Pazar. Detailed planning is designed for all plots of land with the technical requirements for installing GE 2,5 – 103.

In the process of planning and designing of the project was taken into account two-year data on wind potential and the requirements of the Ministry of Environment and Water. Birds and bats studies and monitoring were conducted on site, and the results were analyzed and included in the EIA report. Wind energy yield analyses were made ​​by Wind Prospect-UK, and they show high efficiency and productivity of the park. The micrositing of wind turbines is consistent with optimal utilization of the wind potential and compliance with environmental and hygiene requirements for distance to settlements, forests and water basins.

The project strengthens the role of GE Energy and Winslow Energy, as leading companies in the renewable energy sector in the region. GE's wind turbines will be used for several other projects in the region, including Fantanele project in Romania.
